Ikeda Moody-Golding’s practice centers around her own surrealist microcosm, an interior realm made visible through her works on paper. Subjects are melded into the fabric of metaphysical realities, where nature is stretched to facilitate the unlimited expression of her narrativized characters. Golding invites worldly hyperbole to the proverbial framework of English and African diasporic folklore and storytelling, in order to make space for the expansive chronicles of black imagination.
Ikeda Moody-Golding (b. 1996) lives and works in London. She received her Fine Art BA from Central Saint Martins in 2020.
